"The Fugitive" was a one-hour television program which ran on the ABC television network from 1963 to 1967.
 
Dr. Richard Kimble is wrongly convicted of murdering his wife and escapes from a train carrying him to a prison. He wanders the country searching for the "real killer", a one-armed man. He is pursued by police Lt. Gerard who was taking him to prison.
 
This episode is titled "Fear in a Desert City" and was first broadcast on September 17, 1963.
 
Dr. Kimble, as James Lincoln, is working as a bartender in a bar in Tucson, Arizona. Monica Welles (Vera Miles) plays the piano in the bar. Her husband Edward Welles (Brian Keith), a wealthy man, has been drinking and harasses James. Later James rescues Monica from a physical attack by Edward.
 
While Edward Welles talks to James he holds Morgan silver dollars and plays with them.
