Prev Back Next
The 1980 film "The Fog" is a horror movie about ghosts seeking revenge on a town.

The town of Antonio Bay lies on the coast of Northern California and (in 1980) is about to celebrate the centennial of it's founding in 1880.

Unfortunately the six founders of the town in 1880 obtained the money to build the town by luring a ship, the "Elizabeth Dane" to wreck on some rocks, murdering the ship's sailors, and stealing their gold.

The ghosts of the sailors return to the town along with a green fog to avenge themselves on six descendants of the town's founders.

At one point a little boy walks along a beach and finds a gold coin.
