The CBS television program "The Munsters" is a comedy about a family of five people living in an old house in the fictional city of Mockingbird Heights.

Four of the residents are based on the Universal Pictures monster films of the 1930's and 1940's.

Herman Munster (Fred Gwynne) is based on Frankensteins's Monster. Grandpa (Al Lewis) is based on Bela Lugosi's Dracula. Eddie Munster (Butch Patrick), a boy, is loosely based on the Wolfman. Lily Munster (Yvonne De Carlo) is based on Dracula's Daughter and the Bride of Frankenstein. Marilyn Munster (Pat Priest) is the "normal" person.

This episode is titled "The Treasure of Mockingbird Heights" and was first broadcast on December 23, 1965.

Herman and Grandpa are searching the basement and find a treasure map which leads them to the buried treasure of the seventeenth century pirate Henry Morgan. The two men argue and fight over the treasure until Lily provides a solution.

A classical pirate treasure chest is shown along with it's contents of jewels and coins. The coins are prop coins, of course.
