"Charlie's Angels" was an one-hour television series which ran on the ABC television network
from 1976 to 1981. It was set in Los Angeles, California. "Charlie" was a mysterious man
who owned a small detective agency staffed by an office manager and employing three beautiful women
as detectives. Charlie never appeared but sent orders over the telephone.

The story and characters in the program are fictional.
3. Coins on the table
A pile of US Eisenhower dollars are shown along with a "busted" Blackjack hand.
They were dollar-size copper-nickel clad copper coins which replaced the silver dollars.
Only the obverse of the top coin is shown.
Frank Howell, the owner of the casino, has hired the Charlie Townsend detective agency
to investigate the suspicious deaths of a girlfriend and a parking lot attendant along
with a harassment campaign against him.

Frank flips the coin and "heads" comes up.

The coin is a real Mexico 5 Peso coin dated 1977.
These copper-nickel coins were minted from 1971 to 1978, 33 mm in diameter, and weighed 14 grams.
Frank meets with Bosley and the Angels.
6. Frank and the Angels
Frank Howell, Sabrina Duncan, Kris Munroe, Kelly Garrett, and John Bosley.
7. Frank, Jip, Sabrina, and Cat
Jip leaves with the cat allowing Frank and Sabrina to spend time alone.
Frank takes out a coin and shows it to Sabrina.
8. Frank shows coin to Sabrina
Frank tells her that he kept the coin as a souvenir of a qtxfloating crap gameqtx where he won a large amount.
9. The coin
The Mexico 5 Peso coin reverse is shown.
10. Sabrina asks
Frank tells her that once he and Jip were in a high-stakes dice game and Frank needed
to make a betting decision. Jip flipped the coin to decide, Frank took the advice, and won the casino.
11. Kelly visits Mark Haines
Kelly suggests that Mark had a girl killed because she left him for Frank.
12. Usual suspects
Marty Cole, Ed Slocum, and Case.
13. Shootout
Back at the casino Bosley introduces a man to the girls.
14. Bosley introduces a "private eye"
The detective is Dan Tanna, the private investigator in the television series "Vegas".
