US Marine becomes radio singing star with cash and coins rolling in

The 1937 film "The Singing Marine" is about Bob Brent (Dick Powell), a Marine stationed at the
San Siego Marine Base. He has a good singing voice and is invited to appear on the "Amateur Hour"
radio program. Soon be becomes a big radio star with the money rolling in and develops a big ego
to match.
