The 1954 film "Them!" is a murder mystery with an unusual set of killers. Two New Mexico State Policemen, Sgt. Ben Peterson (James Whitmore) and Trooper Ed Blackburn, discover a recreational trailer which they find trashed and a little girl wandering nearby. The girl is taken to a hospital where she is asked what she saw and she screams "Them!" The policemen later visit a local store which they also find trashed with money left in the cash registers. A cash register is shown with prop currency notes and prop coins in it.

They do not find the owner but do find cash scattered around.

Whoever trashed the place wasn't interested in money.
