The 1977 film "New York, New York" is a musical film set in New York City during the late 1940's and
is about the stormy relationship between big band singer Francine Evans (Liza Minnelli) and
saxophone player Jimmy Doyle (Robert De Niro).

Celebrations and parties have been going on in New York including a large one at a nightclub.

He is wearing a casual shirt with New York scenes on it and she is wearing a United Service Organization (USO)
"uniform", an imitation of an American military uniform. Jimmy attempts to get Francine's attention
but she turns him down.
