Caribbean Spanish shipwreck treasure hunters encounter gold doubloons

The 2008 film "Fool's Gold" is a comedy adventure film about couple of Caribbean Spanish shipwreck
treasure hunters who have been searching for a Spanish ship, the Aurelia, which sunk near the Bahamas
in 1715.

1. Boat explosion
The boat belongs to "Finn" Finnegan (Matthew McConaughey) and his wife Tess (Kate Hudson).
Tess has lost interest in treasure hunting and has divorced Finn.
2. Finn shows Tess the design plate
Finn convinces Tess that he has located the ship.
3. Bigg Bunny visits Moe Fitch
Fitch tells Bunny the plate may lead to something.
4. Gemma, Nigel, Finn
Finn tells his treasure story and Nigel agrees to finance him.
5. Finn searches
Finn finds an old Spanish cannon.
6. Finn finds the right cannon
The cannon has a name plate of the Aurelia.
7. Finn and Tess in church basement
The couple learn that the ship's crew placed the treasure in a "blowhole" which is underwater for
most of the year. They happen to be on the island for the one month that the blowhole is exposed.
8. Coins on the rocks
A flashlight and some coins are on the ground and one of Bigg Bunny's henchmen picks up a coin.
9. Man finds gold coin
He picks it up showing one side of the coin.
10. Man picks up gold coin
The coin is an imitation "prop" coin based on a Spanish silver coin of the period.
The legend would read "HISPANARVM REX" or "Spain King."
11. Coins in the water
Bunny owns a seaplane and he takes Tess and the treasure chest into the plane.
He drops the chest which falls into the water and onto his diver henchman.
12. Museum re-opens
The museum displays the recovered Aurelia treasure.
13. Gold coin exhibit
Spanish doubloons (eight escudos) coins of Philip V are shown.
14. Ancient statue
This unusual gold statue appears which looks Asian.
15. Aurelia artifacts
The Aurelia items are displayed.
