1. Father Malone in his office
Father Patrick Malone (Hal Holbrook) is a Catholic priest working late in his office.
Something shakes the walls and a piece falls off.
2. Cracked wall reveals journal
The journal was written by another Father Patrick Malone in 1880.
The front page reads "April 30. Midnight 'til one belongs to the dead. Good Lord deliver us."
3. Stevie Wayne at her radio station
She has a young son Andrew Wayne.
4. Andy Wayne goes fishing
Andy spots something along the beach.
5. Andy finds a gold coin
Andy then finds a piece of driftwood with the name "Dane" on it.
He forgets about the coin and takes the driftwood to show his mother.
6. Father Malone reads to Kathy and Sandy
He tells the two women about the founder's murderous scheme and suggests that they cancel the
celebration as the town is "cursed."
7. The Fog
The ghosts arrive for another visit.
8. The ghosts arrive
Several townspeople are at the church including Father Malone.
He uses a traditional remedy for supernatural visitors.
9. Father Malone holds a cross
The ghosts depart leaving some survivors including Elizabeth Solley (Jamie Lee Curtis).
