San Francisco rare coin store and coin displays

This episode of the television program "Monk" shows a San Francisco coin dealer's office
including tables with gold and silver coins.

1. Program title
Adrian Monk and his assistant/friend Natalie Teeger are out walking when Monk sees a woman
who he becomes obsessed with.
This obsession leads to insomnia and he discusses his problems with a psychiatrist.
2. Mr. Monk describes his obsession
Monk talks to the psychiatrist about his obsession with the woman, who he has never met.
3. Maria, the woman in the vision
Monk later identifies her as Maria Cordova, a taxi driver.
4. Mr. Monk reads a book
Monk, back at his apartment, can not sleep and reads a book, Almost Perfect Murder by Hy Conrad.
(Hy Conrad was one of the producers of the program)
He calls Natalie and then goes outside for a walk.
5. Mr. Monk wanders the streets of San Francisco
Monk hears noises coming from a restaurant and looks in a window at the kitchen.
6. Drug deal gone bad
A man is trying to buy cocaine from a dealer and an undercover policeman.
The dealer pulls out a gun and shoots the policeman who falls to the floor dead.
7. Mr. Monk finds a business envelope
Monk looks in the can and finds an envelope with the address of a rare coin dealer.
He and the detectives visit the "Jacob Posner Rare Coins."
8. The Jacob Posner rare coin shop
The sign also reads "Est. 1982."
Inside the store are displays of coins.
9. Coin display of gold and silver coins
The coins appear to be gold Spanish doubloons and smaller silver coins.
10. The detectives talk to Mr. Posner
Monk notices that some coin tray are empty of coins but still have labels, and asks Posner.
11. Mr. Monk asks Posner about missing coins
Posner claims that he sold them.
12. Another scene of the coin shop
The dealer's back room is also shown with lots of photographs.
13. Posner answers rare coin question
Posner tells him it is worth millions if he uses it to buy a winning lottery ticket.
14. Crime reconstruction - The quick recovery
The coin dealer was the victim of a scam where the "drug dealer" pretended to shoot the
"undercover policeman", then the "drug dealer" told the coin dealer that he would clean up
the crime scene in exchange for some coins.
15. Crime reconstruction - The payoff
The coin dealer hands over the coins to the "drug dealer."
16. Mr. Monk and Maria
He finds that Maria had a connection with his dead wife.
