"Maverick" was a one-hour television program which ran on the ABC television network from 1957 to 1962.
 
Maverick starred James Garner as Bret Maverick and Jack Kelly as his brother Bart Maverick. Both were gamblers and constantly getting into trouble. This episode only has Bart Maverick (Jack Kelly) in it.
 
This episode is titled "Iron Hand" and was first broadcast on February 21, 1960.
 
Bart Maverick takes a job working for a woman cattle rancher to help her drive her cattle to a market town. The lady charms Bart and sometimes offers to flip a coin for his fee.
 
The coin is a Los Angeles Rubber Stamp Company silver dollar size prop coin which imitates a United States seated liberty dollar.

They encounter cowboys driving a herd of cattle to a cattle market town. Bart meets Connie Coleman who is the ranch owner's daughter and is managing the cattle drive. Connie's younger brother Jimmy is travelling with them along with a mysterious man named Joe Vermillion. She hires Bart and his crew and Bart believes that he has met Joe before.

8. Another Old West character, the rattlesnake
Joe Vermillion picks up the snake with his left hand and is bitten with no effect.
 
A pair of confidence people purchase Connie's herd and pay her with counterfeit money. Maverick and his friends go after the crooks and find them in a town called Preston.
 
Maverick finds Joe Vermillion and recognizes him as a man wanted for a Wells Fargo stage coach robbery. He is known as "Iron Hand" as he has an artificial left hand.
 
Connie gets her herd back and offers again to flip the coin for Maverick's fee.

Maverick says "I do flipping this time" and Connie again calls "heads". The coin is "heads" and Maverick pays her.
