The 1958 film "Murder by Contract" is a crime film about a man who wants to become a hired killer.
 
Claude (Vince Edwards) needs money and hires himself out as a contract killer to a Mr. Brink (who does not appear in the film). He successfully completes two assignments and is then sent to kill a crime witness who is being protected by the police.
 
While waiting for an assignment Claude takes out some US dimes and counts them.

1. Claude counting dimes
The eight dimes are United States silver dimes. All are Roosevelt dimes except for the the first and third which are Mercury or Liberty Head dimes. Mercury dimes were minted from 1916 to 1945 and Roosevelt dimes were minted from 1946 to 1964.
