The 1956 Argentine film "The Bitter Stems" ("Los Tallos Amargos") is a drama about two men who meet
and become partners in a scheme.
Alfredo Gasper is a reporter and Liudas is a Hungarian immigrant
who run a mail-order journalism school.
At one time the proceeds of the school are shown as coins on a table.
