Oval Token with Egyptian Markings

This little item was manufactured early in the 20th century.
They were made to cash in on the Egyptian Revival fad of the early 1900's.
They are small, 7/8 x 1-1/4 inches (22 mm x 31 mm), and made of bronze or copper.

Reverse: Oval ring with two smaller ovals, at top left animal figure with legs, at top center a similar figure, below are two ovals with a letter 'M' between them, below the letter is a Djed (Egyptian symbol for stability) |
