"My Three Sons" was a comedy series which ran on the ABC and CBS Television networks from 1960 to 1972. Steve Douglas, an aeronautical engineer, lives with his three sons and his uncle Charlie. The sons are the youngest Chip (age around 10), middle Robbie (age around 14), and oldest Robbie (age around 16).
 
This episode is titled "Coincidence" and was first broadcast on April 26, 1962.
 
Steve has some minor problems with his sons. He wishes that he had three girls instead. A little man gives Steve a "good luck coin". Steve walks into a house similar to his where there are three girls with the approximate ages of his sons.
 
The good luck coin is shown with both sides appearing and is portrayed by a token which imitates a Spanish treasure coin.

Steve has to drive to a meeting on a Saturday.
 
He sees a little man and offers him a ride. The man introduces himself as Billy Longfellow and gives him an address.

3. Steve meets Mr. Longfellow
Steve takes Mr. Longfellow to the address and lets him out.

4. Thanks for the ride
Mr. Longfellow gives Steve a "good luck coin" and leaves. Steve runs into road construction and becomes lost. He ends up at Mr. Longfellow's house.
 
Steve knocks on the door and a little girl answers.

5. Kit Anderson greets Steve
She invites him in.

6. Steve, Kit, Bobbie
Steve goes inside and meets Kit and Bobbie Anderson. There is also an older sister Mike and an aunt Mub. The three girls are about the ages of his sons. The little girl asks Steve to fix her hair which he doesn't know how to do. Bobbie wants dating advice for a girl. Steve begins to wonder what is happening to him.
 
Steve returns home and tells what happened.

7. Steve tells his story (Robbie, Mike, Steve, Chip, Bub)
The sons and uncle don't believe him and ask him if he is tired or overworked.
 
To prove his story Steve takes them to the house.

Steve enters the house and finds it vacant.

Steve does find the coin.

13. Overwork?
A woman knocks on the door, the boy lets her and her family in.

14. The women arrive
The women come inside and Steve introduces them to his family.

15. Mr. Longfellow arrives
He is a relative of the women and explains that he owns the house that Steve went to and that his relatives were staying there temporarily.

16. Steve holds the coin again
And wonders.
