Michael Knight and his super car find a Spanish gold coin

"Knight Rider " was a one hour television program which ran on the NBC television network
from 1982 to 1986. The program was set in Los Angeles and the hero was Michael Knight, a crime-solving former policeman who works for a private
law enforcement agency. The program had science-fiction elements including a super car which carried
an on-board computer.

Michael's manager is Devon Miles, a wealthy man, and he works with April Curtis, a scientist.

Michael is driving near a beach where he finds an injured diver, Bobby Shell. He takes the man to a hospital and finds a gold coin
which has dropped out of the diver's clothes.

The coin is an imitation or prop coin loosely based on Spanish coins from the 17th century,
however this coin is much thicker than real Spanish coins.
He places the coin in the car's onboard computer/analyzer which displays the metal content of the coin (gold).

Michael meets the diver's sister Jennifer Shell who tells him that she and her brother are looking for treasure,
and two other men, Zachary Sloate, a ruthless treasure hunter, and Ross Manley, are also searching for it.
