"The Brady Bunch" was an American situation comedy which ran on the ABC Television network from 1969 to 1974.
 
Mike Brady, a widowed architect has three sons Greg, Peter, and Bobby, has married Carol who has three daughters Marcia, Jan, and Cindy. They live in a Los Angeles suburban house with housekeeper Alice. The boys' ages are about 15, 13, and 9 and the girls' ages are about 14, 12, and 8.
 
This episode is titled "Cindy Brady, Lady" and was first broadcast on February 18, 1972.
 
Cindy feels that she is being treated as a child and would like to be older. Her brother Bobby begins sending her small presents with notes from a "secret admirer". Bobby gives a schoolmate Tommy a Kennedy half dollar to pose as the admirer and visit Cindy.
 
The coin obverse is shown and it is a real silver Kennedy half dollar which were minted from 1964 to 1970.

Bobby decides to help Cindy by sending her small gifts accompanied by "secret admirer" notes. The gifts include a ten-cent candy bar and an imitation diamond ring.

Mike catches Bobby making a telephone call and tells him to quit before Cindy finds out.
 
Bobby has an idea and at school he talks to a school friend Tommy Jamison.

Bobby offers Tommy a Kennedy half dollar to pose as the admirer and visit Cindy.

Cindy shows him some toys but tells Tommy that she is too grown up for them. Tommy then tells Cindy that she is "too old" for him. Cindy then admits that she likes kid toys after all.
