Roman soldiers crucify Christ and gamble coins over his robe

The 1953 film "The Robe" is based on the Lloyd C. Douglas novel of the same title
about the (fictional) Roman officer who commanded the soldiers at the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.

The men use a cup to throw dice for the robe.

The coins appear to be imitations of different sized Roman coins including denarius's and aes's.
The prop coins here are larger than real Roman coins.

This coin is believed to be the "Tribute Penny" mentioned in the Bible.
Lugdunum was the main mint of Rome until Caligula had it moved to Rome.
