Ancient Romans persecute Christians and Roman pays gold coins for slave girl

The 1960 Italian film "The Revolt of the Slaves" is set during in the later Roman Empire when the
Romans were persecuting Christians. A beautiful Roman Senator's daughter purchases a male Christian
slave, falls in love with him, and becomes a Christian.

1. Claudia and Sebastiano riding
Claudia (Rhonda Fleming) is the daughter of a Roman Senator and Sebastiano (Ettore Manni) is her
boyfriend. They ride a chariot and throw coins to the street crowds.
2. Coins on the ground
The crowd picks up the free money.
3. Claudia meets Vibio
Claudia checks Vibio's identification card.
4. The emperor gives orders
The Roman Emperor Massimiano (Dario Moreno) orders a campaign against the Christians and puts Corvino in charge.
5. Corvino pays the captain
Corvino pays the Roman captain and the captain's girlfriend to find her.
6. Money on the table
The coins are imitation Roman prop coins.
7. Official offers money
Corvino kills the other official.
8. Claudia meets Agnese
The captives are to be used at a Roman Circus.
9. Watching the games
Some gladiator contests are held and then the Christians are brought out.
10. Christians lined up
Romans kill a few Christians by throwing spears at them but then the audience begins yelling and
signaling by "thumbs up" that the emperor should spare the remaining Christians which he does.
11. Vibio and Claudia
Vibio and Claudia leave the arena free (or until the next circus).
