Bad economic times cost Diana her job and David the house.
They decide to take their remaining money to Las Vegas Nevada and gamble at the casinos.

They stay and gamble at the Las Vegas Hilton.

He notices her and sees her looking at dresses.

The United States currency notes are the "small head" variety in circulation then.
The next day they do some more gambling.

They lose most of their money.
At the coffee shop their change appears in a tray.

A United States quarter (25 cents) and several pennies (Lincoln cents) appear.
Diana hands the quarter to David who flips the coin.

He offers Diane $1,000,000 to spend the night with him on his boat which is anchored off California.

David encounters a group of Las Vegas Shriners, members of the "Ancient Arabic Order of the Nobles of the Mystic Shrine",
a Masonic organization. John and Diane fly off in a helicopter.

The helicopter lands on John's large yacht.

John then proposes flipping his "lucky coin" and if it comes up "heads" they will continue the assignation.

The coin is an American Silver Eagle and only the obverse is shown.
John and Diana spend the night together and later she is flown back to Las Vegas and rejoins David.
The couple returns to California and stay together at first.

The loose change is a United States quarter, two dimes (ten cent coins), two nickels (five cent coins) and a penny (one cent).
The matchbox has the name of John's company "Gryphon Land Investments", and then David finds John's business card
in Diana's purse.

The couple discover that their house has been bought by John Gage.
David and Diana start arguing and decide to get a divorce. David starts drinking and Diana starts seeing John.

John takes Diana to a high society charity auction.

David has followed Diane and then signs the divorce papers in front of her.

He gives her his "lucky coin".

She realizes that it is a two-headed coin.
