Some aerial shots of a Spanish city are shown.
2. Opening scene
Oliver Larker, a British tourist in Spain, appears.
3. Oliver Larker with his camera
He meets Smiley, a local taxi driver, who drives him around the city.
He then spots a young woman walking and asks the driver to follow her.
4. The woman
Another car almost runs the woman over and Oliver believes that it was deliberate.
5. Winifred Jordan
Winifred is wearing a coin bracelet but the coins appear to be costume coins. She isn't the girl.
6. Oliver, Sally
Sally is to inherit a large sum of money from an aunt on a certain date but if she dies before the date
then her half-brother Baron Saradin will get the money.
7. Oliver, Robert
The two men flip a coin for Sally, Robert calls it "heads" but Oliver informs him "sorry."
The coin does show "heads" or the obverse.
8. The coin
The coin is a Spanish 50 peseta coin with a portrait of Spain's then dictator Francisco Franco.

After more adventures, Oliver and Smiley discover that the girl is not Sally Kennedy but an imposter.
The evil Baron is killed, and after a car wreck, the false Sally is shown in a car with a policeman.
10. Oliver riding to the rescue
Oliver meets a friend who takes him to the real Sally.
11. Oliver meets Sally again
