The 1964 film "The Chalk Garden" is a British film based on the stage play of the same title. A teenage girl lives with her wealthy grandmother who hires a mysterious woman as governess for the girl.

At one point the girl goes into a closet, brings out a box, and opens the box revealing a piece of cardboard with the images of British large pennies on it.

6. Cardboard coins
The box contains a piece of cardboard with the images of British large pennies on it. Some of the cardboard pieces have been punched out. The item appears to have been a children's toy or a form of inexpensive play money.

I did find photographs on the internet of cardboard coins which match the ones on the board but no complete boards. The coins are Elizabeth II large pennies.
