The 2021 film "The Automat" is a documentary film about the Horn & Hardart Automat coin operated
restaurants which existed in New York City and Philadelphia from 1902 to 1991. They were usually known
as just "Automats."

A similiar machine is featured in the motion picture "Force of Evil."
