Order of DeMolay
An organization for Masonic-connected young men

The International Order of DeMolay or just "DeMolay" is an organization for young men ages 12 to 21 with Masonic family connections, usually fathers or uncles.
 
The organization is named after Jacques De Molay, the last Grand Master of the Knights Templar.
The name of the organization is spelled either "DeMolay" or "De Molay."

A man named Peter A Schwab was born in Jamestown, North Dakota in March 1913.
The DeMolay member age range of 12 to 21 would would date the medallion to 1925 to 1934.

The Germantown is most likely the one which is a suburb of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. There is a similar coin with the same design made by the Harrisburg, Pennsylvania chapter. The Germantown chapter was founded in 1923 and was still in existence in 1966 but has since closed.
 
There was also a Germantown, Maryland chapter which has also closed.
 
The DeMolay logo on the coin was used from 1920 to 1931 which would date the coin to that period. There were several W J Harings and Walter J Harings in the Philadelphia area at the time who would have been 12 to 21 years old from 1920 to 1931.

Frank S. Land was a Mason who founded the Order of DeMolay in 1919.
Note that the name of the order on the Medallion is spelled both "DeMolay" and "De Molay."

The Chinar Grotto is the College Station, Texas chapter of the "Mystic Order of Veiled Prophets of the Enchanted Realm" or M.O.V.P.E.R, a Masonic group similar to the Shriners. The "DeMolay Superstars" was an awards program for DeMolay members.
