The Persian Empire of many dynasties has lasted from BC 522 to the present day in various forms.
The Safavid dynasty began in AD 1501 and ended in AD 1736 when Nadir Shah seized the throne.
Nadir Shah founded a short-lived dynasty called the Asharid Dynasty which consisted of himself and lasted from AD 1736 to AD 1747.
Nadir Shah was the Shah of Persia and in AD 1738 he invaded India.
